Menace Canines
More Than Training

Ashton, the owner, creator, and lead trainer at Menace Canines, has partnered with us to expand our reach across the country by assisting with dog transportation and helping to start some of our puppies and younger dogs in service work.
Menace Canines was founded as an accessible and affordable alternative to the current options for obtaining a service dog in the U.S. They specialize in training service dogs for psychiatric support, medical alert and response, and mobility assistance. In addition to service dog training, Ashton is passionate about working with reactive dogs and helping pet guardians with basic training.
Rather than pre-training dogs for direct placement, Menace Canines works with individuals to find suitable service dog prospects or assess their current dogs for service work. Ashton then guides them through the owner-training process, ensuring they have the support needed to succeed.
Ashton has been working with dogs from a young age and has been a service dog handler for over five years. They have trained and worked with multiple service dogs and currently own three: Lucky, Hades, and Poe—an Amstaff that we produced.
As someone with multiple chronic illnesses, Ashton is dedicated to providing accessible training options and fostering a supportive environment for others who are training dogs while managing their own health challenges.
If you're interested in connecting with Ashton, please reach out to us at Gunsmoke n' Legends or contact them directly at 413-466-4927, on Instagram (@menace.canines), or via email at menace.canines@gmail.com
